Donate to the Snack Program

As part of Second Street's Student Nutrition Program, all students will be offered snack every morning in their classrooms, including a choice of fruit or vegetable, protein and/or whole grain items.

The goal of a student nutrition program is to ensure that students who are at risk for poor nutritional intake have access to safe, adequate and nutritious food during the school day. Our student nutrition program is only partially funded by the city and province. Parent and community donations are required to keep the program going all year. To receive a charitable tax receipt for contributions over $10 you can make your contribution through the Toronto Foundation for Student Success via the following steps:

1. Go to the donation page here: https://tfss.ca/donate/schoolsites-snp/

2. Choose the option of either a one-time donation or recurring donation (this will recur indefinitely until notified).

2. Select your donation contribution. Suggested contribution is $50 per student per term or $100 per year. Please give generously if you are able, your donations directly support at-risk children in our community!

3. Choose the school from the drop down:

4. Complete the donor information as this will be shown on the tax receipt.
